Born May 31, 1935 in Paducah, Kentucky, to the late Clarence and Minnie Beatrice (King) Pullen, Mrs. Norton was a 1953 graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School. She was a retired title clerk in the office of the Marshall County Clerk. Mrs. Norton was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Norton, Sr.; three sons, Gary (Millie) Darnall, Hardin, Kentucky, Marvin (Angie) Darnall, Clarksville, Tennessee, and Dennis (Amanda) Darnall, Mayfield, Kentucky; one daughter, Jeannie (Mike) Lee, Benton, Kentucky; one brother Jerry Pullen, Paducah, Kentucky; one step-son, Robert Norton, Jr., Symsonia, Kentucky; four step-daughters, Deanna King, Dyer, Tennessee, Lisa (Bobby) Bobbitt, Debbie Keathley, and Linda Horner all of Milan, Tennessee; ten grandchildren, Ben Stephens, Christina Scoggins, Amber Patton, Tyler Darnall, Brittany Darnall, Destiny Hawkins, Laken Darnall, Chase Darnall, Jayden Darnall, and Bellamy Darnall; eleven great-grandchildren and several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Norton was preceded in death by one daughter, Debbie Stephens; one brother, Kenneth Pullen; and one sister, Patsy Longfield.
Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Monday, February 7th, 2022 at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West Fifth Street, Benton, Kentucky, with Bro. Jerry Pullen and Bro. Scott Penick officiating. Interment will follow in Wallace Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Monday, February 7th, 2022 at the funeral home.
