Marshall County Health Dept. COVID-19 case update

BENTON, Ky. (Jan. 27, 2022) – Positive COVID-19 cases continue to rise in our community. According to Billy Pitts, Marshall County Public Health Director, until August of this past year, it was unheard of for Marshall County to have 700 cases over the course of a month, but now we’ve experienced 722 new cases in a week. Unfortunately, hospitalization data was unavailable to us this week. On a positive note, no additional COVID related deaths have been reported.

This chart depicts the weekly 7-day average as reported by KDPH every Wednesday (based on the average of the previous 7 days). This week we are at 256.8. This is up from 226.9 this time last week
