The omicron variant has caused COVID-19 cases to go up all over the country, including here in Marshall County. Billy Pitts, director of the Marshall County Health Department and a recent guest on WCBL’s Coffee Call program, says lately Marshall County is seeing around 100 new COVID cases daily. But Pitts says the cases seem to be peeking nationwide and hopefully we will see that same trend in Marshall County.
