UPDATE:  SEMI Crash Cleared on Interstate 69 Southbound at 46mm in Marshall County

All lanes are open

PADUCAH, Ky. (Jan. 20, 2022)  Marshall County 911 Dispatch reports the southbound lanes of Interstate 69 are open near the 46 mile marker at the site of a SEMI that crashed in the median earlier this morning.

The site has been cleared and all lanes are open.

 SEMI Crash Blocking Interstate 69 Southbound at 46mm in Marshall County

PADUCAH, Ky. (Jan. 20, 2022)  Marshall County 911 Dispatch reports the southbound lanes of Interstate 69 continue to be blocked near the 46 mile marker due to a SEMI that crashed in the median earlier this morning.

The load of frozen food is being offloaded to allow the truck to be moved

Estimated duration is extended 1 hour to approximately 10 a.m., CST.

Southbound traffic on I-69 should take the U.S. 68 Draffenville Exit 47 ramp to U.S. 68 East, then follow U.S. 641 South to Benton to return to I-69 at the KY 348 Exit 43 Interchange.

Motorists who regularly travel U.S. 641 between Draffenville and Benton should be alert for heavy traffic.
