
Donald King, age 55, of Paducah, passed away at 5:09 a.m. Sunday, January 9, 2022 at his home.
Donald was of the Baptist faith and was employed by Pilgrim Pride Poultry in Hickory, KY where he was Inventory Control Manager. He was born on March 18, 1966 to the late Donald Elwood King and Virginia Stone. He enjoyed watching St. Louis Cardinal Baseball and was an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan. Donald loved to grill and could produce good meals for family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Baggett King; four sons, William R. (Debby) Etheridge, and Lendon T. Etheridge, both of TN, Tyler D. (Makenzie) King and Cameron J. Etheridge, both of Paducah; two sisters, Melinda (Todd) Hicks, and Maggie (Jay) Held, both of Paducah; two brothers, John (Shelia) Vogt and David Vogt both of Paducah; four grandchildren, Levi Etheridge, Lilah Etheridge, Camdon King and Blakely King; several nieces and nephews.
Preceding in death was one brother, James King and his parents.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at the Lone Oak Chapel Milner & Orr Funeral home with Chaplain Howard Coffee officiating. Burial will follow at the New Concord Baptist Church Cemetery in Melber, KY. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until service time of 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
