Larry was a veteran of the United States Airforce and worked in maintenance at Sportsmans Lodge.
Born Saturday, October 11, 1947 in Paducah, KY, he was the son of the late William Bennett and the late Velma (Johnson) Bennett. He was the husband of Cheryl Bennett.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl (Wyatt) Bennett of Benton, KY; daughters, Shannon Bennett of Benton, KY, Deanna Bennett of Calvert City, KY; brother, Billy Bennett of North Carolina; grandchildren, Shanae Walker, Lindsey Walker, Gabe Steffen, Connor Dunigan; and great grandchildren, Amelia Camara, Greyson Hager and Wade Hager.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Bobby Bennett, Jerry Bennett and Donnie Bennett and sister, Barbie Shekell.
A graveside service will be at 2:30 PM on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Peck Cemetery in Calvert City, KY with Bro. Jeremy Short officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Collier Funeral Home, located at 211 West 5th St, Benton, KY 42025.
