He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Julie (Tarkington) Nelson of Calvert City, KY; parents, Tommy and Rosemary (Feezor) Nelson; son, Zach Nelson of Paducah, KY; daughter, Allie Nelson of Tiptonville, TN; brother, Greg Nelson wife Amy of Benton, KY; step sons, Darrin Cutsinger of Perryville, MO, Bryan Cutsinger wife Kayla of Benton, KY, Brandon Cutsinger wife Kayla of Calvert City, KY; grandchildren, Addalynn Dean, Lathan Cutsinger, Brystol Cutsinger, Timber Cutsinger, Malea Cutsinger, Liam Cutsinger and Leland Cutsinger.
A private family service will be held at Collier Funeral Home and interment will be in Calvert City Cemetery, Calvert City, KY.
