The American Red Cross always responds with help during a disaster, including following the recent tornado in Kentucky. Taylor Poisall with the Red Cross Disaster Relief Team joined us recently on WCBL’s Coffee Call program. She says the main purpose of the Red Cross following a disaster is to help shelter, feed and care for people. Locally the Red Cross command center is set up at the Kentucky Dam Village Convention Center. She says to find out more and how you can help, go to their Face Book page, go to redcross.org or call 1-800-Red-Cross.
