Born June 14th, 1961 in Columbus, Georgia, to the late Morris and Pauline (Perazzo) Hammer, he was a Jewish born again Christian and enjoyed serving and witnessing for his Lord. Mr. Hammer was a member of Zion’s Cause Baptist Church. He was a gentle and loving soul and was beloved by his family and with all that came to know him. Michael was a most beloved son, brother, uncle, and prayer warrior.
He is survived by one sister, Patricia (Tony) McLeod of Benton, Kentucky; two nephews, Robert Blaine and Daniel Oringer; three nieces, Lillian Akeo, Rebecca (Brian) Pincus, and Pamela Oringer; and one great-niece, Arianna Akeo.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 28th, 2021 at Marshall County Memory Gardens with the Revs. Jerry and Rebecca LaRose officiating. There will be no public visitation.
