Janis was born on January 22, 1968 in Marshall County to the late Roy Lee and Mable Irene Tapp Gamble. Janis loved her grandchildren very much and enjoyed spending as much time with them as she could. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Jesse Lee Winkler of Gilbertsville; her sister, Darlene Manning of Murray; her brother, Jimmy Wayne Gamble of Benton; her half sister, Judy Kirkwod of Beulah, KY; her half brother, Donnie Ray Morgan of Benton; two grandchildren, Isaac Lee Winkler and Gabriel Anthony Winkler; her foster mother of 12 years, Vyra Campbell; her foster sister, Beth Devine; and her two foster brothers, Chris Edwards and Zachery Edwards.
She was preceded in death by her brother, James Lee Gamble; and her parents.
