Mrs. Shirley M Uzzle, 88, of Benton, KY passed away Friday, November 19, 2021, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY.
Born Wednesday, June 14, 1933, in Calloway Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late Euell Jones and the late Margaret (McKinney) Jones. A graduate of Benton High School, she was a homemaker and a cook at South Marshall Middle School. Mrs. Uzzle was a member of the Benton Church of Christ.
Survivors include, her husband of 69 years, Chester L. Uzzle of Benton, KY, sons, Michael Uzzle of Oak Ridge, TN and Jeffrey Uzzle of Oak Ridge, TN, daughter, Debra Fielder of Murray, KY; grandchildren, Jesse Fielder, John Fielder, Rachel Fielder, Susan Linnert, Sara Beth Stowers, Patrick Uzzle and 3 great-grandchildren.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, C.W. Jones and Max Euell Jones and one sister, Mildred R. Gipson.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at the Edwards Cemetery, Murray Highway, Benton, KY. Cory Westerfield will officiate. Interment will follow the service.
No public visitation is scheduled.
