Joseph Cirrito, 78, of Calvert City passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Center.

Joseph was born on September 18, 1934 in Niagara Falls, New York to the late Nelson and Hattie Crogan Cirrito. He was the owner and operator of Mugs & Suds Restaurant. He was a member of St Pius X of Calvert City and the Knights of Columbus.

Joseph is survived by his two sons, Michael Joseph Cirrito (Lori) of Symsonia and Shawn F. Cirrito (Krystal) of Calvert City; six sisters, Edith Mitchell, Lorraine McQueen, Pat Bishop, Mary Szeles, Josephine Needham, and Phyllis Schiro; four brothers, Anthony Cirrito, Lawrence Cirrito, Nelson Cirrito, and Enrie Cirrito; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jean Cirrito; his daughter, Julie Ann Wininger; his sister, Carmilla Baskin; four brothers, Dominic Cirrito, Samuel Cirrito, Louie Cirrito, and James Cirrito; and his parents.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM at St Pius X.

A Memorial Mass service will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 1:00 PM at St Pius with Father Brian Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Calvert City Cemetery.
