Duane was born on January 22, 1943 in Colby, Kansas to the late James Lydick Sr. and Anna Marie Fields Lydick. Duane was a retired precision sheet metal worker and a veteran of the United States Army. After retiring he enjoyed spending his time working as a driver for Meals on Wheels, and frequently visiting Marcella’s Kitchen. He was a member of Kentucky Lake Cowboy Church.
Duane is survived by one daughter, Anna Mae Lydick of Benton; and one sister, Ellen Dunbar of Manhattan, KS.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Evelyn Sporing; two brothers, James Lydick Jr. and Vernon Lydick; and his parents.
