Tammie McCullough announces candidacy for 2nd District Commissioner

To the voters of the 2nd District-

I am writing this letter to share with you my intent to run for 2nd District Commissioner of Marshall
County on the Republican ticket.

I am a lifelong resident of Marshall County. I am a registered nurse and had a 26-year career in the
medical field until 2017. At that time, I retired from nursing to start our family business, West KY
Aquaponics, of which I own and manage along with my father, Tim Watkins, and my husband, Dr. Steve McCullough.

Becoming a business owner in my resident county has allowed me to become more involved in the
community. I currently serve on the Kentucky Lake Chamber Board, the West KY Chamber Alliance
Board/Executive Committee, and the Kentucky Chamber Ag/Equine Council. I am also a member of
Kentucky Women in Agriculture.

With my diverse experience from nursing, administration and information technology, farming, business ownership and board positions, I believe I would be an excellent candidate to serve as District 2 Commissioner. I would like the opportunity to participate in decision-making and represent not only the voters of District 2 but all of Marshall County. My goals are to maintain conservatism, increase economic growth and development as well as support and promote progress within Marshall County.

Respectfully,

Tammie Watkins McCullough
