
Freddie was born on January 20, 1936 in Calvert City, KY to the late Owen and Audie Smith Dismore. Freddie is a United States Army Veteran and served his country in Germany from 1954-1957 and he’s a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foriegn War. He worked and retired as a heavy equipment operator for Local #181. In his younger days, Freddie enjoyed hunting rabbits, birds, raccoons, and squirrels. Freddie invested a lot of time and enjoyed maintaining his 60 acre property, always trying to keep it looking like a golf course. He built and stocked his own pond on his property and enjoyed feeding the fish. He would always lend a hand to his neighbors and was known as the neighborhood handyman. Freddie was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Paducah until it dissolved.
Freddie is survived by his daughter, Kim Dotson and husband Tim of Calvert City; three grandchildren, Jeremy Hicks of Benton, Kristin Hega of Benton, and Michele Morris and husband Craig of Gilbertsville; and eight great grandchildren, Keela, Kane, Cora, Skyla, Keegan, Nevaeha, Molly, and Hudson.
He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Sue Manley and Ada Ruth Lowery; two brothers, Joe Boyd Dismore and Wilford Owen “Jimmy” Dismore; and his parents.
