Daryl Wayne Stevenson, age 70, of Calvert City, KY passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021 at his residence.
Daryl was born on March 20, 1951 in Benton, KY to the late Thomas “Tinker” and Barbara “Dottie” Greer Stevenson. He worked and retired from the Laborers Local 1214. Daryl enjoyed spending time going hunting, and fishing with all of his family and friends. He also enjoyed skeet shooting and eventually won the same trophy as his father, while being a part of a 5 man team alongside his three brothers and one of his sisters.
Daryl is survived by his daughter, Darla Vaughn of Tatumsville; his son, Gavin Wayne Stevenson of Calvert City; two step sons, David Alvey of Calvert City and Coty Alvey of Paducah; four sisters, Veda Parrott (Jerry Don) of Calvert City, Martha Sue Baldree (Randie) of Mayfield, Teresa Ford (Lonnie) of Calvert City, and Charlotte Stevenson of Calvert City; three brothers, Barry Stevenson (Teresa) of Calvert City, Jody Stevenson (Shelli) of Calvert City, and Bruce Stevenson (Sharon) of Calvert City; four grandchildren; Mercedes Wheeler, Jacqueline McFarland, Tommie Crank, and Hailey Crank; five step grandchildren, Anniston, Korben, Graham, Holden, and Logan Alvey; one great grandson, Ryker Brown; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 13, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Twin Lakes Worship Center.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 13, 2021 at 6:00 PM at Twin Lakes Worship Center with Bro. Jeremy Short officiating.
