
In their second meet of the 2021 season, the Marshall County cross country team competed in the Owensboro Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 4. Top finishes came from senior Cade Flatt who placed ninth in 17:41.38 over the 5K course and senior Leah Vincek finished 16th for the girls’ team in 23:32.96.
Madisonville-North Hopkins junior, Drew Burden, won the boys’ race with a time of 16:47.32 an Gracie Reed, and eighth grader from Barren County, took the girls win in 18:50.99. The boys from Webster County took first and the Marshals placed fifth. South Warren won the girls varsity race.
