Mr. Dennis Earl Jetton, Sr., age 69, of Sedalia, KY passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at his residence.
He was a devout Christian, a retired Florida State Police Detective and a US Army veteran.
Mr. Jetton is survived by his devoted wife of 19 years, Stacy E. Jetton; one son, Dennis Earl Jetton, Jr. of Sedalia, KY; four brothers, David Vaughn of Paris, TN, Darrell Vaughn of Paris, TN, Danny Vaughn of Paris, TN and Kellen Miller of Belvidere, IL; two sisters, Debra DuBois and Dorretta Vaughn both of Las Vegas, NV; two grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one son, Jason D. Jetton; four brothers, Earl Usher Jetton, Jr., Dale D. Jetton, Derrick Vaughn and Donald W. Vaughn; his father, Earl Usher Jetton; his mother, Laura Ann Lee Vaughn; and his step-father, Bobby D. Vaughn.
Funeral services for Mr. Dennis Earl Jetton, Sr. will be 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Ralph French and Rev. Robert French will officiate. Interment will follow at Burnett’s Chapel Cemetery. Graveside military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post #26.
Visitation will be 1:00 – 3:30 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
