Mr. Carlton Litchford, 64, of Benton, formerly of Nashville, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Mills Nursing & Rehab in Mayfield.
Mr. Litchford was born in Nashville, TN on July 17, 1957 to Jessie Litchford and Sarah Smith Bond. Dale was a known as a gentle soul and loved to help people. He would have given you the shirt off of his back and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father; his wife, Jean Rainey Litchford; a sister, Linda Dickens and his stepfather, Lowell Bond.
Those he lovingly leaves behind include his mother, Sarah Bond of Pleasant View, TN; two brothers, Eugene Litchford and Patterson Bond both of Pleasant View, TN; sisters, Anna Turner, husband Gerald of Murray, twin sister, Carla Gail Tomlin, husband Jerry of Pleasant View, TN, Pam Barnett of Pleasant View, TN.
A graveside service is set for 5:30 PM on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Hicks Cemetery. Sammy Cunningham will officiate. Pallbearers include Gerald Turner, Derrick Christopher, Patterson Bond, Jerry Tomlin, Richard Knox, Brandon Bond.
His family welcomes visitors from 4 PM – 5 PM on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Imes Funeral Home, 311 North 4th Street, Murray.
