Jewell “Cool Jewell” Cunningham, age 69, of Benton, KY passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at his residence.
Jewell was born on September 10, 1951 in Benton, Kentucky to the late James and Mary Elizabeth Bolen Cunningham. In his free time, he enjoyed riding motorcycles. His passion for motorcycles and his personality earned him the title “Cool Jewell” from his family and friends. He worked in construction as a laborer and was a member of Free Spirit Biker Church. He loved all of his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving partner of 33 years, Sharon Burd; his brother, Billy Ray Cunningham, Sr. (Hyu Chong Yi ‘Su’) of Clarksville, Tennessee; one daughter, Jessica Hope Willis of Waldorf, MD; two sons, Joseph Lynn Cunningham of Benton and Chris Woods of Paducah; two step daughters, Amanda Washburn (Jeff) of Benton and Kathy Reynolds of Benton; one step son, Steven Burd of Benton; thirteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Ann Blackwell Vaughn; and his parents.
The family will be having a memorial service at 3:00 PM on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Free Spirit Biker Church with Bro. Dennis Lawrence officiating.
A visitation will be held from 2:00PM to 3:00 PM on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Free Spirit Biker Church.
