Hickory, KY. (August 24, 2021) – Troopers and Detectives with Kentucky State Police, Post 1 are on the scene of a shooting in the Hickory community of Graves County. At approximately 6:35 p.m., Post 1 Dispatch began receiving reports of gunshots near the apartment complexes on McKenzie Circle. Currently, one person is deceased as a result of the shooting.
Law enforcement believes this to be an isolated incident and there is no evidence to indicate a further threat to the surrounding area.
