
Andrew “Chico” Jeffers Jr., 68, of Paducah, passed away Monday, August 23, 2021 at his home.
He was born in Salem, Kentucky on July 7, 1953 to Andrew Jeffers Sr. and Minnie Mae (Adams) Jeffers. Andrew was a proud United States Marine Corps Veteran and fought bravely for his country in Vietnam. After an honorable discharge from the military, he worked as an iron worker until he retired. Andrew was an officer in the Marine Corps League #1390 of Paducah and was a member of Iron Workers Local #782. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. His daughter and grandchildren were the light of his life and he cherished every moment spent with them.
Andrew is survived by his daughter, JoAnna Owen (Bryan) of Wickliffe; two brothers, Alfred Jeffers and Danny Ray Adams; and three grandchildren, Selena, Lillian, and Alexis Owen.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister; and thirteen brothers.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Bob Martin officiating.
Burial will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 30, 2021.
