Kay Fraser Thomasson, 75, of Hickory, KY passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Baptist Health-Paducah.
Kay was born in Paducah on August 3, 1946 to the late Marshall and Afton Russell Fraser. She was a sweet, understanding and caring wife, mother and granny. Whether it be traveling, camping or eating out, Kay was always on the go. She adored her grandkids and great-grandkids more than anything. Their granny was at every sporting event, cheering them on as their biggest fan. Kay was a member of Freemont Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ronnie Dale Thomasson of Hickory; her daughter, Rene’ Drake and husband, Brad of Murray; two sons, Brian Keith Thomasson and wife, Debbie of Hickory and Eric Jason Thomasson and wife, Mandy of Fancy Farm; twin sister, Martha “Fay” Purcell of Eddyville and sister, Marilyn Gay Williams (Bill) of Benton; Richard Lynn Fraser (Betty) of Clarksville, TN; seven grandchildren, Kayla Black (Levi), Kurt Thomasson (Sarah), Kyle Thomasson (Jamie), Erica Drake Hayden (Justin), Grace Thomasson, Robert Thomasson, Tori Thomasson; and five great-grandchildren, Elliott Thomasson, Hadley Kate Thomasson, Case Black, Paisley Thomasson and Rollins Hayden.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, David Ray Fraser.
A funeral service for Kay will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Bro. Butch Latta officiating. Burial will follow at Hardmoney Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
