Anticipation for the 2021 football season continued to build on Friday with the inaugural Football Frenzy at Carroll Traylor Stadium Saturday evening. While the middle school through high school teams ran through game simulations, dozens of silent auction items as well as a live auction were available for bidding conducted by County Commissioner and Auctioneer Kevin Spraggs.
Inclement weather moving in cut the Varsity Marshals time on the field short.
The season will kick off with a home game against Ballard Memorial August 20 following two scrimmages – August 6 at Murray High and August 13 at Union County.
