Mrs. Marilyn J. Blagg, 86 of Benton, KY passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY.
Born Saturday, February 23, 1935 in Marshall Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late Guy Homer Creason and the late Imogene (Locke) Creason. She was livestock auction clerk, working for many years with Farmers Livestock Auction in Mayfield, KY and most recently for Southwestern Sales Livestock Auction in Huntingdon, TN. She was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are her son, Mitchell Blagg, Benton, KY; grandchildren, Brian K. McClain, Benton, KY, Kevin McClain, Benton, KY, Guy Blagg, Benton, KY, Todd Blagg, Benton, KY, Matt Blagg of Nashville, TN; great grandchildren, Meagan Powell, Kinsey Moreland, Kyle McClain, Alyssa McClain, Piper McClain, Kristin McClain and Kyza McClain; great great grandchildren, Grady Powell, Cullen Moreland and Jayce Moreland.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Bobby G. Blagg; daughter, Joetta Lee McClain.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, July 30, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY with Rev. Terry Mathis officiating. Interment will follow the service in Lyles Cemetery, Benton, KY.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 29, 2021, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, KY.
