Gay Lynn Wright, 64, passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Baptist Health Paducah Hospital.
Gay Lynn was born on November 6, 1956, in Paducah, KY, wife of the late Steven Wright. She graduated from Heath High School in West Paducah, KY in 1975 and was a long-time member of Spring Bayou Baptist Church.
Gay Lynn is survived by her daughter, Shea (Wright) Hynick, husband Brandon Hynick, grandson, Hudson William Hynick, granddaughter, Finley Ann Hynick of Franklin, TN, son Aaron Wright of Columbia, MD, and brother Ricky Watson of Kevil.
She was preceded in death by her son Steven Austin Wright (2021), her husband Steven Wright (2017); mother, Barbara Watson (2020); father, Tom Watson (2009); mother-in-law, Peggy Ann (Riley) Wright (2010), and father-in-law, Frank Wright (1999).
She enjoyed traveling with family and friends, lunch dates with her best friends, and spending time with her grandchildren. She is well-known for her eye in interior decorating and enjoyed cooking family recipes in the kitchen.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to everyone for their support and love, and are greatly appreciative for everything during this difficult time.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, July 26, 2021, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Nate Hillebrand and Rev. Wes Morehead officiating. Graveside services will follow at Spring Bayou Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the 1:00 pm service time on Monday, July 26, 2021, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
