A wealth of information is available to you at the Marshall County UK Extension Office of Mayfield Highway, near the Hwy 641 bypass. Nikki Rhein, agent with the division of agriculture, was a recent guest on WCBL’s Coffee Call program. Rhein says she loves the unbiased, research based information that is available. She says one of the most important things you can do is to get your soil tested. And the farmers’ market is still being held at the extension office each Saturday morning from 8 until noon featuring everything from produce, eggs, mushrooms, woodworking and more.
