Mrs. Shirley Fay Edwards, age 81 of Gilbertsville, KY died on Thursday, July 15, 2021, at her home. She was a beauty operator and member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She was the former owner of Maggie’s Jungle Golf.
Born Wednesday, August 16, 1939 in Marshall Co, KY, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Turner and the late Eura Mae (Thompson) Turner.
Surviving are her husband, Tony Edwards of Gilbertsville, KY, and brother, John Turner of Gilbertsville, KY.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jack Turner, Stanley Turner and Bruce Turner, and sisters, Frances Gordon, Maxine Myers, Julia Givins and Joanne Posey.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 3:30 PM on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Marshall Co. Memory Gardens located at Hwy U.S. 641 North Benton, Kentucky 42025 with Rev. Jack Kee officiating.
No public visitation is scheduled.
