Michael Gene Adams, age 72, of Paducah passed away Sunday, July 11, 2021 in Lebanon, TN. Michael was a faithful member of the Lone Oak First Baptist Church where he was a member of the Lighthouse Sunday School Class and a prayer warrior for the Upward Program. Michael was retired from the State of Kentucky where he served as Juvenile Probation Officer. He enjoyed Khoury League baseball where he coached and watch his boys play. Gene enjoyed hunting squirrels and being outdoors. Michael was a native of Ballard County.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Barbara Jean Hill Adams, two sons, Michael Elliott (Terri) Adams of Lone Oak, KY and Bryan Keith (Lee Ann) Adams of Grand Rivers, KY; four grandchildren, Haley Ellen Adams, Chaney Marie Adams, Candice Lynn Overby and Dalton Lee Adams; six great-grandchildren.
Preceding in death were his parents, Eugene Bryan Adams & Mollie Marie Elliott Adams; one brother, Bryan Elliott Adams.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 16, 2021 at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Bob Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Blandville, KY. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
