Mrs. Maxine Holshouser, age 83, of Mayfield passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at her residence.
She was of the Baptist Faith and a retired employee of Fern Terrace in Mayfield, KY.
Mrs. Holshouser is survived by one son, Tommy Holshouser of New Mexico; one daughter, Brenda (Johnny) Tucker of Pryorsburg, KY; five brothers, Joe Potts of Oklahoma, James Potts of Mayfield, KY, Ray Potts of Fancy Farm, KY, Billy Potts of Lynnville, KY and Kenny Potts of Paducah, KY; four sisters, Becky Wyatt of Mississippi, Loudean Austin of Mayfield, KY, Alice Gossum of Wingo, KY and Kaye Suiter of Mayfield, KY; five grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. T. Holshouser; one son, Sammy Holshouser; one brother, Wayne Potts; and her parents, Willie D. and Mary Francis Hopkins Potts.
Funeral services for Mrs. Maxine Holshouser will be 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Bro. John Dacus will officiate. Interment will follow at Calvary Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Chambers, Michael “Opie” Neely, Brandon Franklin, Chad Gossum, Johnny Tucker and Issac Chambers. Honorary pallbearers will be Brenda Tucker, Brookelyn Chambers and Riley Chambers.
Visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
