Reta Joyce Lear, 75, of Wickliffe, passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center at Lourdes.
Mrs. Lear was the manager of housekeeping of Life Care Center of La Center for 25 years. She was a member of Cane Creek Baptist Church.
Mrs. Lear is survived by her husband of 26 years, Larry Lear; two daughters, Julie Brookshire (David) of Illinois and Rhonda Mathews (Ronald) of North Carolina; four sons, Tommy McDanel (Tracy) of Wickliffe, Roger McDanel (Penny) of Wickliffe, Billy McDanel (Dawn) of Kevil and Joe Lear (Amanda) of Gage, KY; eleven grandchildren, Michael McDanel, Brittany Wessels, Johnathan McDanel, Ashley Malone, Macey McDanel, Matthew McDanel, Larra McDanel, Colson Ivitta, Kody and Andrew Brookshire and Cassidy Lear; seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul McDanel; three brothers, Bobby Johnson, Don Johnson and Jesse Johnson Jr. Her parents were Jesse and Beulah Blanks Johnson.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe with Rev. Steve Turner officiating. Burial will follow at Wickliffe City Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour of 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe.
