Mrs. Marion A. Lawson, 82, of Murray, passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2021 at Spring Creek Healthcare in Murray.
Marion was born in Jackson, MI on July 22, 1938 to parents Jackson and Clara Strickrodt. She married Sherman Lawson in Jackson on November 9, 1991 in Jackson Michigan. Marion spent 25 years working at Canteen Corporation Food Service. Marion is survived by her husband of 29 years Sherman Lawson; son Ronald (Kimberly) Goldsmith; stepchildren Heather (Scott) Howison and Kymberly (Peter) Garbow; ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and siblings Jack (Carolyn) Strickrodt and Sandra Sherman. She is preceded in death by her parents and son Christopher. Family will receive friends on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Patience-Montgomery Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
