Daniel Hendrickson, 75, of Benton, KY passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Marshall County Hospital.
Daniel was born in Summit, NJ on November 1, 1945 to the late Stanford and Florella Ross Hendrickson. Earlier in his life, he spent four years living in Afghanistan and graduated high school during the time he spent there. He later went on to attend Murray State University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree. Daniel worked as an inspector and a supervisor for the United States Army Corps of Engineers and attended Church Grove United Methodist Church. He loved traveling, camping, spending time out on the lake, and he was also an avid snow skier.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Miller Hendrickson; three daughters, Gail Dyke (Johnny) of Benton, KY, DeVona Rosa (Rick) of Bushnell, FL, and Renee Larson (Chris Hunnell) of Louisville, CO; one brother, Scott Hendrickson of McKay, ID; four grandchildren, Amy Bevil, Melissa Elrod, Jared Rosa, and Lauren Bazzell; thirteen great grandchildren; two nephews, Bill Hendrickson and Kevin Hendrickson; and one niece, Debbie Sexton.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr is handling the arrangements.
