Alexander Harrington, 92 of Calvert City, KY died on Saturday, May 8, 2021, at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY.
He was a superintendent at SKW Alloys and a member of Palma United Methodist Church since 1956.
Born Sunday, June 3, 1928 in Shepherdsville, KY, he was the son of the late Minor Harrington and the late Margaret Ann (Mitchell) Harrington.
He is survived by his wife, Nellie (Smith) Harrington of Calvert City, KY; son, Jeffory Harrington of Calvert City, KY; daughters, Linda Mogan of Benton, KY, Susie Leith husband Roger of Naples, FL; grandchildren, Stuart James wife Nikki, Trevor Wilson, Lyndsi Leith, Zane Leith wife Leah; and 7 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Minor Harrington, Jack Harrington, William Harrington, Robert Harrington, Curtis Harrington, Donald Harrington, Herman Harrington; and sister, Virginia Reed.
A Graveside service will be held at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at McNatt Cemetery with Rev. Carlton Bodine officiating.
Interment will follow in the McNatt section of Marshall County Memory Gardens, Benton, KY.
