Calvert City pickleball members earn 11 medals in Jackson, Tenn.

Members of Calvert City pickleball played in a tournament over two days last weekend in Jackson, Tenn. Top photo represents the Saturday group and bottom photo the Sunday group.

Calvert City’s pickleball players were back in competition Jackson, Tenn. at the Jackson Open Pickleball Tournament in Conger Park held April 30-May 2. Over three days, 13 members of the group played winning 11 medals – eight gold and three silver. Calvert City pickleball participants in the tournament represented six Western Kentucky counties.

Gold medal winners:
Dax Myhand and Leigh Toby – 3.5 Mixed Doubles
Marvin Travis and Jacob Hill – 3.5 Men’s Doubles
Kim Trimm and Donna Chapman – 3.5 Women’s Doubles
David Darnall and Chad Winstead – 3.0 Men’s Doubles

Marvin and Jenny Travis – 3.5 Mixed Doubles
Jason Jones – 3.5 Singles
