Mary Sue Moore, 82, of Graves County, KY passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Mills Nursing & Rehabilitation in Mayfield, KY.
Mary was born on April 6, 1939 in Springfield, TN to the late Vernon Lee and Mary Jane Pitt Birdwell. She was a very loving and caring stay at home mother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren playing cards and board games. She enjoyed cooking for her family and making them her famous chicken and dumplings. Mary was always happy, and never one to complain about anything. She loved listening to music, dancing, and will be remembered for her silly personality. Mary was of the Christian faith.
She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Moore Floyd of Dardanelle, AR; her son, Jeffrey Moore of Mayfield, KY; three grandchildren, Maigan Skinner, Crystal Gail Arnold, and John Henry Floyd; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Ray Moore; two sisters, Dorothy Knight and Beverly Elliot; one brother, Thomas Birdwell; one great granddaughter, Mercedes Gail Arnold; and her parents.
A graveside service will be held at Liberty Cemetery at a later date.
