Josephine Marie Christiansen, 84, of Mayfield, KY passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Clarksville, TN.
Josephine was born on April 28, 1936 in DePue, IL to the late John Marquez and Mary Salazar Marquez. She was a stay at home mother that loved caring for all of her family. She enjoyed shopping and going out to eat with her family and friends. She had several dachshunds that she loved dearly but more than anything else she loved spending time with her family and grandkids. She was a very loving and caring person, and will be missed by many.
She is survived by her two daughters, Tina Griggs (Derek) of Mayfield, KY and Debora Christiansen (Tony Shrader) of Paris, TN; one sister, Delores Clark of Kewanee, IL; one brother, Eddie Marquez of Spring Valley, IL; one uncle, Mencho Marquez; seven grandchildren; and seventeen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Christiansen; one sister Mary Lou Blair; and her parents.
A visitation will be held on Monday, April 26, 2021 at Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home from 12:00 PM until the service time of 12:30 PM.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 26, 2021 at Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home at 12:30 PM with Father Brian Johnson officiating.
