Mrs. Lovella M. Pace, age 83 of Hardin, Kentucky, passed away on April 21, 2021. Born to Elias and Gertie (Mathis) Clark on November 7th, 1937 in Aurora, Kentucky, she was of the Baptist faith, a member of Hardin Baptist Church and attended Owens Chapel Baptist Church. Lovella was a graduate of Hardin High School. She was a homemaker and member of the Hardin Homemakers Club for many years.
Lovella is survived by her son Michael Pace, wife Sandy of Hardin, KY; her daughter, Kathy Smith, husband Paul of Benton, KY; three grandchildren, Josh Smith, wife Kimberly; Jennifer Walton, husband, Wally, and Jon Pace, wife Krista; and great-grandchildren, Dalton, Josie, Jaya, and Jaxon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elias and Gertie (Mathis) Clark; her husband of 40 years, Thomas Pace; grandson, Timothy Pace; sisters, Pearline Trimble, Nell Clark, Alma Battoe, Erma Callahan, and Betty Broughton; and brothers, Joe Clark, Toy Clark, and Lee Clark.
Graveside services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 25th, 2021 at Spencer Starks Cemetery in Hardin, KY. Bro. James Stom will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:30 p.m. Sunday, April 25th at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West Fifth Street, Benton, KY.
