Patricia (Patty) Sue Sickle, age 75, passed peacefully with her family beside her on Monday April 19th , 2021. She was born December 29, 1945 in Evansville, IN. She married her high school sweetheart, Wesley Sickle, in October 1964. He preceded her in death in June 1998.
Patty loved people, dogs, and above all her family. She had a huge loving heart and would give anything to anyone who needed it. She loved spending time with her family, playing poker, and boating most weekends with Wesley and her children. Patty doted on her children and grandchildren and would talk about them to anyone who would listen. She loved buying them gifts for any occasion, or sometimes for no reason at all. She retired from the Indiana Blood Center where she very successfully recruited donors to give much needed blood.
Patty is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Hibbs and husband, Mike; two sons, Jeffrey Sickle and wife, Melody; James Sickle; five brothers, Billy White, Leonard White, Jr., Thomas White, Anthony White and Richard White; three grandchildren, Cameron Rodgers, Kaitlyn Sickle, Kelly Sickle and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Sickle; sister, Elizabeth Ann Meyer; three brothers, Michael White, Jerry White and Lawrence White. Her parents were Leonard White, Sr. and Evelyn Callis White.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday May 15, 2021 from 1:00pm-4:00pm at Coxhall Mansion, 11669 Towne Road, Carmel, IN 46032. Light Refreshments will be served.
At Patty’s request, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Molly’s Mutts Animal Rescue, 248 KY-983, Dixon, KY 42409, or to the Humane Society of Hamilton County, 1721 Pleasant Street, Suite B, Noblesville, IN 46060.
