FRANKFORT, Ky. (April 21, 2021) – In accordance with a proclamation from the White House, Gov. Andy Beshear has directed that flags at all state office buildings be lowered to half-staff in honor and remembrance of former Vice President Walter Mondale, who passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021, in Minneapolis, MN. Flags shall remain at half-staff until sunset on the day of Mr. Mondale’s interment, which has yet to be announced.
