Elena Blevins with the Kentucky Convention and Visitors Bureau was a recent guest on WCBL’s Coffee Call program. She says the upcoming tourist season is looking very good at this point. And Blevins says lots of events are coming up, including the first Benton Cruise-In at the H.H. Lovett Benton City Park on Saturday, May 1st from 4 ’til 8 pm. Food Truck Tuesdays at Mike Miller Park in Draffenville and Food Truck Fridays in Calvert City. There will be live music and food trucks on the Benton Court Square Saturday, May 15th and lots more events planned, including a rodeo.
