Mr. William Walker “Bill” McClard, 78 of Benton, KY passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY.
Born Thursday, May 28, 1942 in Palma, KY, he was the son of the late Max McClard and the late Mabel (Walker) McClard. He attended North Marshall High School. He retired after 36 years of service from ISP Chemical in Calvert City. He worked in the research and development lab.
He honorably served his country in the United States Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
He was a member of the Briensburg Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Penelope (Jones) “Penny” McClard of Benton, KY, daughter, Alison Springer, husband Kevin, son, Kevin W. McClard, wife Jennifer of Benton KY, brother, Gene McClard, wife Vivian of Benton, KY, sister, Judy Jones, husband Ed of Benton, KY, grandchildren, Lane Springer, Mary Elizabeth Segebarth, husband Craig, Jordan Springer, Chandler McClard, Chase McClard, wife Alex, Katelyn McClard, and great grandchild, Henry Segebarth.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Gary McClard and sister, JoAnn Iverlett.
