Murray Jordan Akers, Jr., age 63, of Bardwell, KY passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Baptist Health Paducah.
Mr. Akers was born in Memphis, TN on September 16, 1957 to the late Murray Akers, Sr. and Joanne Lacefield Akers. He worked in construction and was of the Christian faith. He loved fishing and his dogs.
Murray is survived by one daughter, Kim Wilson of Clinton; one son, Murray Jordan Akers, III of Mayfield; one brother, Erik Forrest Akers (Adriyel) of Bardwell; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at the Fort Jefferson Memorial Cross in Wickliffe with Rev. Wendell Gray.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until the 3:00 pm service time at the Fort Jefferson Memorial Cross in Wickliffe.
