Barbara Minder, 77, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 1:44 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at her residence. She was born in Ledbetter, Kentucky on November 10, 1943. Barbara was retired from Finkle’s Fair Store and Lourdes Hospital Cafeteria. She was a member of the Holy House of Prayer. Barbara judged and showed Canaries including traveling to London, England and Canada. She enjoyed raising Canaries, cleaning houses, cooking, (especially coconut pies), and raising flowers.
Barbara is survived by her son, Carey Ward of Paducah, Kentucky; step-sons, Paul Minder and Tim Minder both of Houston, Texas; brother, James Joiner of Florida; sister-in-law, Cindy Joiner of Ledbetter, Kentucky; eight grandchildren including, Daniel Jake Ward and Cary Wayne Ward both of paducah, Kentucky; four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth D. Minder; step-son, David Minder; brother. Rev. O.D. Joiner. Her parents were Robert Joiner and Mary Louise Faughn Joiner.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Bro. Keith Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Palestine Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon Sunday at the funeral home.
