
Gary Brooks Polivick, age 62, of Mayfield, previously of Bardwell, passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at Baptist Health Paducah.
Gary was born in East St. Louis on May 27, 1958 to his mother, Jane Ann McBride Patterson and the late Cecil Brooks Prolivick. He worked for many years at Burkhart Inc. in Cairo. Gary loved sports, especially baseball and enjoyed spending his free time cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals.
Gary is survived by his mother, Jane Ann Patterson of Arlington; his sister, Doris Polivick (Jim Taulbee) of Bardwell; his son, Austin Polivick (Caitlin) of Prince George, Canada; step-daughter, Lisa Wilson (Scott) of Mayfield; six grandchildren, Ainsley Jane Polivick, Kynsley Kathleen Polivick, Hayden Nicole Polivick, Warren Brooks Polivick, Darielle Davis, and Kierany Wilson; one great-grandchild, Hailee Davis.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sandra Polivick and his father, Cecil Brooks Polivick.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Roselawn Cemetery in Bardwell with Bro. Rick Yarbrough officiating. Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell is in charge of arrangements.
