North Marshall 7th grade team advances to state’s Elite 8

North Marshall Middle School’s seventh grade team over the last two seasons has had an unblemished record of 46-0. They went 29-0 in the 2019-20 season and 17-0 this year under the direction of Head Coach Keith Poole and Assistant Coaches Blake Cary and Jeff Jones.

The first weekend in March, they competed in the KBC Classic state middle school tournament in Wilder, Ky. and advanced to the Elite 8 round.

In the round of eight, the Marshals lost a heartbreaker in overtime to Corbin, the eventual state champion.
