Mr. Charles Lee Freeman, 85 of Benton, KY passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at his home.
Born Thursday, May 23, 1935 in Benton, KY, he was the son of the late Edna (Collins) Hunt. Mr. Freeman was retired from Laborers Local 1214 in Paducah, KY. After retirement, Mr. Freeman used his talents and entrepreneurial spirt to develop a property rental business. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Surviving are his son, Rick Freeman, wife Quita of Benton, KY; grandchildren, Christopher Freeman, Benjamin Freeman and Amanda Wallace; great grandchildren, William Freeman, Paxton Wallace, Roselynn Freeman and Grayson Wallace.
He was preceded by his mother and step-father; his son, Jimmy Freeman; brother, Clifford Hunt.
Graveside services will be held Monday, March1, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Benton Cemetery, Benton, KY. Rev. K. Alan Miller will officiate. Interment will follow the service.
Friends may visit with the family between the hours of 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY 42025.
