Mary Lee Smothers, 82 of Benton, KY passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at Mills Manor Nursing Home in Mayfield, KY.
Born Friday, January 13, 1939, she was the daughter of the late R.M. “Bill” Smothers and the late Verda (Wood) Smothers.
She was a Beautician for many years and was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church.
Surviving are son, Marty Smothers, wife Tammie of Benton, KY, brothers, Joe Ed Smothers of Benton, KY, Tommy Smothers, wife Mary of Hardin, KY, Dale Smothers of Benton, KY and Pat Smothers of Benton, KY, sister, Frankie York, husband Holland of Symsonia, KY; grandchildren, Kristie and wife Christina Smothers of Olympia, WA, Brett Smothers of Gilbertsville, KY; great grandchildren, Brayden Smothers and Bryce Smothers.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 26, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY. Bro. Joel Frizzell will officiate. Burial will follow in the Middle Fork Cemetery, Benton, KY.
Friends may visit with the family between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 26, 2021 at the Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY 42025.
