Marcella’s Kitchen in Benton continues to serve lunch to residents of Marshall county. Dave Berndt, a long-time volunteer and board member joined us recently on WCBL’s Coffee Call program. He says because of the pandemic and the volunteer base being down a little, Marcella’s is now open only three days a week, however, they continue to serve five lunches each week. Marcella’s is open on Monday serving two meals, one for that day and for the next day. The same schedule for Wednesday and then one meal on Friday. They are open 11 to 1 those days, but closed now on Tuesday and Thursday. They have meeting rooms you can rent by calling 270-703-3977. And they always need volunteers.
