Joining us on WCBL’s Coffee Call recently were Ann Wells and David Garrett of the New to You Shop in Benton. Wells is the manager, while Garrett is the executive director. Wells says you will find everything from infant clothing up through adult clothing, with everything sorted by size. Some new and the rest only slightly worn. Everything has been donated and the money collected goes to support the 3rd Place Ministries (created by the 13 United Methodist churches in the area) which serves people in the community by helping with utilities, rent, Thanksgiving meals and more. You can make donations of clothes, household and kitchen items, books and some furniture. The New to You Shop is located on Cope Road, just off Hwy 641 South, close to the old Walmart location. Hours are 9 until 3 Tuesday through Friday and Saturday 9 ’til 1. You can also view their Facebook page. Just look for New to You/Benton.
